Fiber Coupled Lasers and Systems

All fiber coupled laser modules and components use a direct fiber-to-laser (DFTL) coupling technology which efficiently couples laser power into a single mode fiber. This technology is cost efficient, highly repeatable process and designed for volume manufacturing. This DFTL coupling is stable in alignment, permanent and enables compact fiber coupled laser module designs which are practical for price sensitive applications. Fiber coupled laser modules and designed to meet the demanding performance requirements of life science, medical device and industrial instrumentation. Laser Diode Modules

Our new Laser Diode Module, the ChromaLase IITM incorporates laser diode driver electronics,  control and alarm Firmware, protection circuitry and low noise operation into a compact, stand alone assembly.  A wide variety of wavelength and power options are available including the very popular Blue laser (488nm) and Red Laser (635nm) products. Each semiconductor laser diode module is ordered with or without Blue Sky’s patented µLens or micro-optic beam correction optics. OEM Lasers and Components

Blue Sky Research has designed several families of laser components which offer superior beam qualities in a compact package for OEM applications. VPSL (virtual point source) lasers are improved semiconductor lasers with superior beam characteristics, the MiniLase products combine Blue Sky Research’s VPS lasers with high quality optics, solid packages and laser drive electronics.
